The South Carolina Society of Professional Engineers held its 2015 Annual Installation of Officers and Board Members at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC on June 11, 2015.
The new Officers and Board Members were installed by Chris Jones, PE, F.NSPE, Southeast Regional Director of the National Society of Professional Engineers. Jones charged the officers and directors to represent the SCSPE membership in their respective positions.
Jones installed 2015-2016 President David Rykard, PE (Hartesville, SC), who replaces Past President George H. McCall, PE, F.NSPE, of McCall & Son Inc. (Greenville, SC), Also, installed were Vice President Angela Musselwhite, PE of S&ME. (Charleston, SC), Secretary/Treasurer Andrew “Andy” Rogers, PE of AECOM (Columbia, SC) and NSPE House of Delegates Representative Jim Justus, PE, F.NSPE, of Mosaic Engineering & Consulting, P.C. (Greenville, SC).
Board members elected to director positions include Mike Surratt, PE, Catawba Chapter, C. Steven Grant, PE, Spartanburg Chapter, Ola Skie, PE, Piedmont Chapter, Frank Iwanicki, PE, Charleston Chapter, and Randy Cottrell, PE, Columbia Chapter.
The 2015-2016 elected Chapter Presidents are Rodger Culbreath, PE, Catawba, Alan Thomas, Coastal/Pee-Dee, Don Hallman, PhD., PE, Aiken, Lyth B. Clark, Jr. PE, Columbia, John P. Mistak, PE, Charleston, and W. Paul Christopher, PE, Piedmont, and Carlos Gittens, PE, Spartanburg.
