Good morning. Spring is in the air (and on your car). Welcome to that time of year. Everything has a yellow haze. Your co-workers are sneezing and coughing, and even though we have had a lot of rain in the past few months, you hope for afternoon showers to wash the pollen away.
I’ll start this report as I have every report for a year with a snapshot of where we are related to the novel Coronavirus. Currently, the US has a total of 30,085,827 cases, and 546,704 people have passed away from complications from COVID-19. Here in South Carolina, we’ve seen three days of increasing numbers. South Carolina has 464,169 confirmed cases, and 8,053 have passed away as of Monday, March 29, 2021. Though we have had an uptick in cases, there is some good news to share. As of March 31, 2020, all South Carolinians aged 16 and up can be vaccinated. Click here to find a vaccine provider near you, and “let’s roll up our sleeves and fight COVID-19.”
