Good evening. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. With the New Year, SCCSPE kicks into overdrive.
The legislature returns next Tuesday. As bills have been prefilled, I have started reading. There are bills introduced dealing with dams (which I was expecting due to lack of passage in the last session,) a bill dealing with the Secretary of Transportation appointed by the Governor and devolving the duties of the commission, as well as a couple other bills I’ve started tracking. One of these bills would allow non licensed professionals to practice professionally in SC if they or their spouse is active military and living in South Carolina.
