Though today may just seem like another Tuesday for you, but for the 124 members of the House of Representatives, 46 Senators, their staffs, and all the lobbyist out there today marks the first day of the second regular session of the 123rd General Assembly. SCSPE has a stout legislative agenda this year, and only a few months to get it done.
As I’ve mentioned in my past newsletters, SCSPE will be introducing legislation as well as tracking these bills. As the session progresses, we will be looking for our member’s help when we issue calls to action, ask for engineers to testify, and come to the Statehouse when we have bills come up for committee votes.
