The meeting kicked off with an update from ACEC-SC Chair, Keith Overstreet, PE, Design South Professionals, before SCSPE President, Tracey Turner, PE, delivered an update on what SCSPE has been up to since our last membership meeting at the SCSPE Annual Meeting this past June at SC Engineering Conference & Trade Show.
Following President Turner’s address, SCDHEC’s Director of Environmental Affairs, Myra Reece, gave an SCDHEC update. She spoke about changes at the agency as well as a budget request SCDHEC will be made to the SC Legislature. She asked for SCSPE’s support for this request. Attendees are now enjoying ether the business track or environmental track.
