I apologize for not sending a Friday News last week. We fed a lot of PE examinees and before I knew it the day was gone.
I am very sad to say that I have to start this week’s report with some terrible news. SCSPE 2018 Engineer of the Year and SCSPE Educational Foundation President Michelle Motchos, PE, (Columbia Chapter) passed away yesterday morning. Michelle and her husband, Steve Nanney, chose not to have a formal service. She was an animal lover and memorial donations may be made to Pawmetto Lifeline here. Michelle was a great engineer, member, and person and will be missed. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.
