I hope you have enjoyed this unseasonable weather. This time last year Columbia, SC was in the triple digits, so this weather has been a nice surprise. It has been a terrible week for the pandemic. As of Monday, the US had surpassed two million positive cases of COVID-19 with 2,085,769 confirmed cases and 115,622 people have died. South Carolina has been labeled as a hot spot due to our numbers rising so quickly, just a month after the phased reopening began. South Carolina has 19,378 cases and 602 deaths reported. As we continue with the phased reopening of our state and our members are going back to work, please continue to follow the CDC guidelines to help stop the spread of the virus.
