Good afternoon. I hope you have all been enjoying the summer. The 2018 -2019 SCSPE Fiscal Year started on July 1, 2018, and we are hitting the ground running.
I hope you all enjoyed Licensed PE Day on August 1, 2018. This virtual holiday took place on social media. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn were all buzzing with the hashtag #LicensedPEDay . It was great seeing all the posts and Professional Engineers talking about what made them become a PE. The first Professional Engineers license was issued on August 8, 1907, so NSPE chose the first Wednesday of August to celebrate Licensed PD Day. SCSPE thanks you for your membership and for being a licensed Professional Engineer.
