South Carolina will celebrate National & South Carolina Engineers Week from February 21 – 27, 2016 with South Carolina Engineers Day declared on Wednesday February 24, 2016.
Across the US and State of South Carolina Engineers will be celebrating E-week. This is a week for Engineers to be recognized by their profession, peers, and citizens. Governor Nikki Haley by proclamation has declared this week Engineers Week here in South Carolina. Check your calendars, as many organization host chapter meetings or other functions to celebrate E-week.
To make it a little more special this year ACEC-SC and SCSPE with help from Representative Kenny Bingham, PE and Senator Shane Martin have gotten a House and Senate Resolution declaring February 24, 2016 South Carolina Engineers Day. We will be going to the State House on that day and be recognized by The House of Representatives. So mark your calendars, and let Adam know if you plan to attend.
